Imagine if Athena, King Arthur, and Sherlock Holmes all existed in the same universe?
The Argovale is divided up into five distinct eras or worlds, to make sure there's something for every fantasy fan. Here's the breakdown:
The Age of Myth
In the Age of Myth, the gods reigned across the Earth in all cultures. From the dawn of civilization, they shaped the world as they saw fit.
That is, until they mysteriously vanished 2500 years ago. What happened to them and what was the legacy they left behind?
The Age of Camelot
The true age of heroism, when humans realized they could be forces for good in this world, led by one of the greatest heroes of all, King Arthur.
This age is where most of the Argovale's books take place (for now). It's a Marvel-like shared universe of Arthurian heroes and villains.
The Gothic Age
When the light shines the brightest, there must also be shadows. Those shadows emerged at their strongest during the Gothic age, an age that will see the rise of heroes like Van Helsing, Frankenstein's Monster, Mina Harker, and even Sherlock Holmes.
The Modern Age
By the modern age, the blood of the gods had diluted and spread across all humanity over millennia. Now it is beginning to make itself known as "god genes" activate across the world, responding to one of the largest threats the Earth has ever known.
The World of Illadar
The World of Illadar is a high-fantasy world that exists near to Earth, but contains a number of original stories, and some based on world literature that didn't fit within the larger mythical narrative of the Age of Myth or Camelot.
